"Support structures"

The structures onto which the photovoltaic modules are mounted must facilitate installation and provide the correct surface fixture using anchoring and ballast as well as the best possible inclination relative to the sun’s rays – that is, as near as possible to right angles to the modules for maximum efficiency. In certain types of installation special structures called “trackers” are used che which change inclination and direction with the sun’s movement and guarantee perpendicularity, thereby increasing efficiency.
